I came across a post where someone was contemplating whether it was appropriate to cold email CRO, Director, or VP level roles while attempting to break into tech sales.
It made me pause and think - just email?

As the VP of Sales Development, I've hired around 300 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
Out of countless interviews, guess how many times I've been cold called by a candidate?
Just twice!
And, interestingly, both of them clinched the job.

Don't let the fear of rejection hold you back.
With nearly 650,000 SDR roles out there, there's always another opportunity waiting for you.
From my experience, I can assure you that initiative is highly valued, especially at higher management levels.
The further you move up the career ladder, the more your "grit" is appreciated.
So, get ready, show your courage, and dive headfirst into the job hunt.
